Steffie has over a decade of experience as an economics researcher. She has expertise in survey design and management, data coding and cleaning, and data analysis and visualisation.
Steffie has experience in research and evaluation across a broad range of topics. This includes research on localising the Millennium Development Goals and the Sustainable Development Goals in the Philippines, as well as the evaluation of crises such as typhoons, the Global Financial Crisis, the Rice Price Crisis, and humanitarian crises. She has worked for clients such as UNDP, UNICEF, UN-FAO, ILO and IFAD.
Steffie is currently finishing her Master’s thesis in Development Economics at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from University of the Philippines Los Banos with the Best Thesis award in Agricultural Economics Policy.
