Kate Lanyon

Kate is a qualitative researcher, with several years of experience as a research officer at the Australian National University (ANU) and has led and co-authored publications on water policy and governance in the Murray-Darling Basin. She has a strong ability to synthesise evidence from a broad range of complex sources to draw out clear and reasonable conclusions. Kate has effective communication and facilitation skills, developed through tutoring and working with students from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Development Studies and Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability at the ANU. During her studies, Kate completed a research-based internship with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and several successful projects with external organisations including Icon Water and Mount Taylor ParkCare.
