Katja has over twenty years of experience in the design, implementation and analysis of applied social research in areas such community health promotion, gender and development and monitoring and evaluation utilising qualitative, participatory and mixed methods approaches. She has a broad range of consultancy experience with both public and private sector organisations applying her skills to meet the needs of diverse stakeholder groups. Her more recent experience has focused upon the leadership and management of research and evaluation projects within Australia and the Pacific focusing on women’s economic development. She is an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Canberra’s Centre for Sustainable Communities.
