‘Narrowing the Development Gap in ASEAN: Drivers and Policy Options’ can now be ordered through the Routledge website, here
Professor Mark McGillivray and Dr David Carpenter have submitted the manuscript for this book which will be published by Routledge in March 2013. This book examines the development gaps that exist between ASEAN countries, it defines these gaps, measures them quantitatively and then suggests a number of policy options that can be adopted to narrow development gaps within ASEAN, and improve human development outcomes in poor ASEAN countries more generally. This book will be of interest to students of international development, policy makers, academics and others with an interest in human development in southeast Asia and ASEAN. This book was written for ASEAN, with funds provided by the Australian Agency for International Development.
