Sustineo Leadership Changes

Andrew Rowe

Our Founder and CEO, Andrew Rowe, is leaving Sustineo to start the next chapter of his career! Over the past nine years Andrew has shaped a culture of innovation, collaboration, respect, and client-focused thinking that we are all proud to be a part of. We are sad to see him leave but know he will make great things happen in his new role as CEO with Havelock Housing Association, ensuring affordable housing for those in need. We’re proud to announce that our Executive Manager – Research, Tom Sloan, will be stepping in as Interim CEO, ensuring a smooth transition with no disruption to our work.  Andrew will remain a valuable member of the Sustineo team on our Board of Directors. For more information and to hear from Andrew himself see here:

“When I started Sustineo almost 9 year’s ago, I could never have imagined the number of challenges that lay ahead, but neither could I imagine the true riches of experience and friendships that were a part of the journey. Our international reputation has grown over the past nine years through delivery of over 100 projects in 17 countries. In the last 4-years we have significantly expanded our exports to PNG and Solomon Islands, opened new opportunities in Fiji and Vanuatu, and delivered projects cutting across ASEAN member states and Pacific Island countries. Our clientele includes a growing mix of local and international governments, multi-lateral donors, not-for-profit organisations and commercial firms.  We are a mature, capable, and diverse business, with a great culture, a committed and engaged team, and a bright future.

I’m immensely proud of my contribution to the firm’s journey, and I have no trepidation in handing over the leadership reins to a new generation. I will remain a shareholder and director on the Sustineo board, and look forward to continuing the journey in a new capacity.

I’m also excited and energised with the prospect of working in the community housing sector, taking my career into the next phase."
