Research Society Awards Finalists!

The Research Society 2022 Research Award for Research Organisation of the Year - Finalist: Sustineo

We’re excited to announce that Sustineo is a finalist of the Research Society Award for Research Organisation of the Year!

We are incredibly proud of this achievement. Over the last 12 years, we have put significant effort into ensuring that our research work is of the highest quality while always being focused on the client’s needs.

As our CEO Tom Sloan said, our approach to research is underpinned by our core values:

“We pride ourselves on being a for-purpose company, driven by a mission of supporting positive and sustainable social, economic, and environmental change through our work. For us, this means not only doing good work towards our organisational purpose, but ensuring that we embed principles of co-design, integrity, collaboration, and partnership across our research work.”

Our entry for Research Organisation of the Year highlighted our commitments to rigorous evidence-based research and working closely with our clients and partners – both in Australia and across the Pacific region.

“Being named a finalist for Research Organisation of the Year is really a testament to the passion, drive, and capability that our wonderful team have demonstrated over the last 12 months.”

“While we’re a smaller firm than some of the other finalists, we are certainly proud of the impact that our work has.”

Beyond the organisational recognition, Sustineo’s Ellis Mackenzie has also been announced as a finalist for Young Researcher of the Year!

“We’re all stoked for Ellis, being recognised as a finalist for the Young Researcher of the Year category. He is a quiet achiever, but since arriving at Sustineo in 2019 he has embodied our ethos around research partnership and collaboration, both for projects in Australia and in Papua New Guinea,” Tom said.

The Research Society Awards is an annual program to recognise research that makes a difference to business and social policy planning performance, reflecting the Research Society’s focus of promoting the value of research, insights, and analytics.

We’re crossing our fingers for the announcement of winners on 30 November!
