We’re so pleased to be partnering with YWCA Canberra again this year for their Great Ydeas Small Grants Program.
Our CEO, Tom Sloan, was recently interviewed by YWCA Canberra where he talked about how supporting the grants aligns with our business ethos:
“We’ve done a lot of work in communities overseas in the gender equality and empowerment space, and in 2020 we decided that we also wanted to engage more with the ACT community, where Sustineo is based. So Great Ydeas aligned to that organisational focus.”

So do you have a Great Ydea?
Apply for the Sustineo Great Ydeas Empowerment Grant to receive $2000 to support your project or professional development opportunity that focuses on activities that build skills and capacities of you or your community.
For example, you might apply to fund the launch of a community activity that empowers young women through learning a new skill, bring together women and girls from diverse communities to address a particular social, educational or health issue, or for a training opportunity that will enable and empower you to pursue your chosen career.
We are specifically encouraging applications from those of diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Canberra-based community members with origins from across the Pacific Islands region. So spread the word and tell your networks about this opportunity!
No idea is too small – apply today! Applications close 13 March. For all the details and to apply, head to the YWCA Canberra website.
