Will brings a broad skillset in regional planning and community consultation in the Pacific to Sustineo. As a research assistant, Will provides support across Sustineo's research projects, business development activities and general administration.
Will has a rich background of work in Papua New Guinea (PNG), working at a grassroots level to determine and implement local development priorities. As someone who was born and raised in the Pacific, he is deeply committed to international aid and development, and to ensuring it achieves its intended outcomes.
Will has extensive experience in community consultation through his work in New Ireland Province (PNG) and understands the importance of aligning a variety of interests, political and cultural, to maximise useful outcomes. These experiences have developed his capacity to engage in complex social situations and analyse the potential impacts of aid programs, while also reinforcing his belief in the importance of accessibility, effective provision of health and education services, and social equity.
Will completed a Master of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Canberra and a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and Biological Anthropology) at the Australian National University.
