Tim is a leader in indigenous cultural facilitation locally and internationally. A member of the Peguis First Nation, with family in Fox Lake, Manitoba Canada. He has worked extensively with indigenous communities in research, facilitation and liaison roles to address complex socioeconomic issues such as health and wellness, education, employment and training, youth development, and advocacy for the advancement of food systems within communities. As a Research Officer, Tim provides support across Sustineo’s research projects and business development activities.
Tim's experience in research and advocacy brings a broad skillset in facilitation and cross-cultural engagement in the fields of indigenous health and well-being to Sustineo. He has worked with indigenous communities on a variety of food security initiatives, engaged extensively with First Nation communities in Manitoba (Canada) and has extensive experience working in complex and multicultural contexts. Tim completed his Diploma in Community Development and Community Economic Development from the School of Indigenous Education, Red River College.
