
Rob is a skilled consultant and researcher with over ten years of experience in international development, academia, and consultancy in Australia and the Pacific. He has a strong record of producing high-quality, impactful mixed methods analysis. This includes planning and conducting stakeholder consultation, running quantitative analysis using large global datasets, and designing and implementing evaluations.
Rob is also an experienced project manager who enjoys working collaboratively to find solutions to complex challenges. He is adept at building trusting relationships with public and private sector clients, and supporting these clients to achieve their goals.
Prior to joining Sustineo, Rob worked in health, education and government consultancy across London and Canberra. Between 2014 and 2019, he completed a PhD and Masters in International Development at the University of Oxford. He has extensive global experience of the academic sector, having worked as a Junior Dean at St Antony’s College, Oxford, a teaching assistant at the Oxford Department of International Development, a lecturer at the University of Fiji and a tutor/research assistant at the University of Tasmania. He previously managed the Big Issue’s Hobart Community Street Soccer Programme, providing free weekly football training sessions and welfare support for a diverse group.
Rob is a 2014 Rhodes Scholar, cricket tragic, and songwriter. He is often sighted at open mic nights, bashing guitar chords and ‘singing’.
