Carmel brings 25 years of experience in public sector management and commercial consulting. She has consulted across diverse sectors including rural and regional capacity building programs, tourism development, land use planning, and transport infrastructure. Carmel’s public sector experience includes senior management roles in performance auditing, labour force modelling, and visitor economy and marketing.
Carmel is an intuitive leader and has demonstrated insight into relationship and trust-building with strategic partners and clients. She has a wealth of experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation, and recent projects include the facilitation and co-design of the world’s first Dementia Friendly Sensory Trail. She also brings expertise in socio-economic profiling, mixed-method research, and strong technical skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
